These 3 years are vital in establishing a firm foundation in reading, writing and arithmetic.

Music
Individual tuition is available for any child who wishes to study musicWe have highly qualified and experienced music teachers who work closely with children, encouraging a love of music and a sense of discipline in their efforts. As children achieve various milestones they are presented at assembly time to perform for the whole school. Twice a year the school holds a music soiree where children who have achieved a level of excellence within their age group are given the opportunity to perform for parents and fellow musicians. All music students have the option to prepare for the annual music exams through Trinity Guildhall or Royal Schools.

All children in the Foundation Phase enjoy a weekly singing and music appreciation lesson.
Choir (Junior)
We have a junior choir (Gr 2 and 3) and a senior choir (Grade 4 – Grade 7). Children are auditioned annually. Commitment to the school choir is for the whole year. The choir performs in our annual school production, Celebration (prize giving) and at the soirees. Our choir is also regularly invited to perform at school events and other key functions which includes weddings, conferences and mass choir performances.
Multisport Programme
At the end of the academic day, all learners participate in a multi-sports programme that introduces them to a wide range of skills and sports. This lays the foundation for later when in Intermediate Phase they can hone their skills by choosing a specific sport to focus on.
